The European Facial — sometimes called a classic facial — is the original, complete facial treatment. It combines deep cleansing, warm steam, gentle exfoliation, manual extractions, a face-neck-and-décolletage massage, a customized mask, and finishing hydration into one unhurried ritual. It is the foundation professional skincare is built on, and our signature treatment at SI Glam Glow.
Plan for 90 minutes. The European Facial is deliberately unhurried — the extra time is what allows for proper extractions, the full massage, and a mask that actually gets to work. This is not an express facial, and that is exactly the point.
A regular or mini facial covers the basics — cleansing, light exfoliation, and moisturizer — usually in 30 minutes or less. The European Facial goes further: it adds warm steam, manual extractions, and the signature massage for the face, neck, and décolletage, all customized after an in-depth skin analysis. It is the more complete experience, for skin and for stress.
Yes — it is one of the best facials for congestion. The warm steam and careful manual extractions help unclog blocked pores and minimize the look of breakouts, and with regular treatments many clients see a noticeable improvement in their skin’s overall clarity and balance.
In most cases, yes — every product and every step is selected for your skin during your analysis. If you have a history of allergies, very reactive skin, or a condition like eczema or psoriasis, just let your esthetician know at the start of your visit (and check with your physician first for any inflammatory skin condition), and your treatment will be adjusted accordingly.
Your skin will feel refreshed right away — just treat it gently for the rest of the day. Because deep cleansing and exfoliation can temporarily make skin more sensitive to the sun, avoid direct sunlight for several hours afterward, and wear a good SPF if you are heading outdoors. We apply SPF before you leave.
